As the year comes to a close, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what has been a very busy and rewarding year at Park House Barns.

This year, we have supported 10 people through the Chocolate Skills Academy. Delivered in partnership with our employment services in North Yorkshire, the Academy supports people to build practical skills, confidence and experience that can support their future employment goals. It has been wonderful to see people grow in confidence as they have developed new skills, learned about chocolate making and taken pride in their achievements. None of this would have been possible without the support of Bettys and the Two Ridings Foundation, whose belief in the Academy continues to make a real difference.

We have also seen fantastic support from our stockists, with more businesses choosing to stock Park House Barns chocolate this year. This growing network has helped us reach more people and create more meaningful opportunities. Alongside this, we have been producing an increasing number of bespoke items, from branded bars and lollies to bespoke boxed collections.

Our team has been at the heart of everything. Their commitment and encouragement have helped create a supportive and welcoming environment where people feel valued and able to do their best. We have also been supported by The Hub, who have played an important role in the studio and with packing orders, helping us keep up during our busiest periods. It has truly been a team effort.

Our busiest time of year has, as always, brought long days and lots of activity. While it has been busy, it has also been incredibly positive to see the impact of our work during this peak period.

Your support helps us continue to create opportunities, build confidence and share great chocolate with purpose. We are proud of what has been achieved this year and look forward to what comes next!
